Women Entrepreneurs, Business Owners to Gather at PGA Championship
KOHLER, Wis. August 7, 2015 – Business women from the Wisconsin area are in for an exclusive professional development experience at “Beyond the Green,” held in conjunction with the 97th PGA Championship at Whistling Straits, August 11 (Tuesday) from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Beyond the Green is a one-day event that features a variety of panel discussions and networking with business and sports leaders who will discuss their leadership styles and experiences, in addition to sharing how golf has proven to be a successful business tool in their careers.
Scott Eblin, Co-Founder and President of The Eblin Group and author of Overworked and Overwhelmed: The Mindfulness Alternative will share “The Mindful Alternative to an Always On World” during his keynote address.
“Now more than ever, women have the opportunity to sit at the table, be heard, and showcase their leadership skills, and our speakers and panelists can attest to the fact that golf can play a critical role in a woman’s professional development,” said Sandy Cross, Senior Director of Diversity & Inclusion, the PGA of America. “Beyond the Green provides a behind-the-scenes look at the habits and practices of influential entrepreneurs and business owners, including ways the game of golf can factor in to their business growth and leadership development.”
